Keeping your vehicle in track is easier than you think!

Not sure about your vehicle performance or feeling it could do better?

Have you ever been through such a situation?

you in the middle of the way with your car not working and you don’t know why?

You need to read this!

To get the best performance of your vehicle you have to consider doing periodic things without red flags!

plenty of us aren’t considering periodic maintenance as a necessary process and we used to wait until something big happens. Or the vehicle stops, then we take a repairing action.

So, how can I avoid such a situation and get the best performance of my vehicle?

Here is some information to keep your vehicle in track and to get the best performance:

First, you have to know that taking care of your vehicle is important and critical like taking care of yourself. so, imagine someone not giving himself proper food, medicine, cloth and shelter, probably he’ll end up sick and broken!

your car is just like you and the following are points you have to consider and tell your friends to:

First things first: your tires

have to check them every day or two. And if you noticed something, wrong you have to fix them sooner. Because its critical issue and may cause huge damage. Or at the best scenario you don’t want to have a flat tire in the middle of the way.

You should be aware of the periodic maintenance parts

that needs to be changed periodically even if there are no red flags up. If you’re in the automotive industry we know them as the fast-moving items.

A – engine lubricant and its filter. In fact, the engine lubricant plays a huge rule in the engine. It’s responsible for easing, smoothing and cooling the movements of the engine parts also cleaning residues from the combustion process. Since the oil moves in a closed cycle inside the engine, we need to clean it every cycle. And that is exactly the purpose of the engine oil filter. So you need to get your vehicle the proper high quality lubricant and filter. Also changing the oil periodically depending on your vehicle manual is critical and so important.

B- the radiator coolant. The rule of the radiator is cooling the engine. And to do that we need a high-quality coolant to help this to be done well. So flushing and refilling your coolant periodically and checking the coolant level is very important. Because there is nothing cooler than a well cooled engine!

C- Spark plugs. Imagine When you’re lighting the candles of your birth day you don’t want a bad lighter which takes time. As well for lighting your cigarette you need a good lighter to do this fast and efficient. Actually, the spark plugs are responsible for lighting up the fuel mixture inside your engine. And during your trip the spark plugs are lighting thousands of times. So it’s very important to replace the spark plugs periodically, so you can get best performance of your vehicle.

D- Air filter. Imagine yourself running in bad ventilated area surly you won’t last long till you fall down tired. Because you’re not getting fresh air, just like you the engine needs to breath well to perform well. So, taking care of your vehicle and replacing your vehicle’s air filter periodically is critical to improve its performance.

E- brake pads. To decrease the speed or to stop your vehicle you need a good braking system. So, you need to be sure that your brake pads are durable. And keep your eyes on them to change them periodically. Most of the cars nowadays having a brake pads wearing sensors. So, if you have these sensors it’s easier for you to know when to change them.

F- suspension parts. In fact, the suspension parts are usually durable and you don’t have to change them periodically. But if you’re living in an area with a bad uneven road. You must check your suspension parts every six month to know if they need to be changed.

G- Timing belt or chain. We say the engine Is the heart of the vehicle so the timing belt is the artery of the engine. Because it connects the engine shafts together and controls the timing properly. So, it’s very important to change your timing belt periodically depending on your car manual recommendations. Otherwise you may face a serious damage in your engine and it will cost you a lot to fix!

H- Battery. You must check your battery and change it if needed. So, you don’t be late to work and the battery is dead then we have a horrible bosses scenario.

I- lighting. Tail and front and its easier for you to notice any problem with the front lighting. But when it comes to the tail lighting you may not figure out it’s broken and this may cause problems. (Accident or ticket) so always check your tail lights.

The parts and habits are affecting car performance:

  • Car sensors, and when we say sensors, we mean the engine sensors not the parking sensors. So, the following are the engine sensors you need to keep your eyes on from time to time.
  • Camshaft sensor
  • Crankshaft sensor
  • Oxygen sensors
  • Knock sensor
  • Thermostat
  • Air mass meter

The idea of monitoring the above sensors is that the engine is working in a harmony using the sensors’ signs. So, if one of these sensors failed it will give a wrong sign and effecting the engine performance.

  • Careless driving, driving your vehicle in a bad way could affect its performance and damage some parts. And when we say careless driving, we mean
  • Over speeding
  • Sudden turns
  • Rough braking
  • Keeping the engine running for a very long time without resting
  • Driving in off roads without supplying your vehicle with off road parts

Some extra advices for your safety and peace of mind

  • Always make sure you have a spare tire and tire change tools
  • Have first ais kit with you in the car
  • Have a small fire extinguisher
  • Carry a booster cable in case your battery died you can get some help from another car
  • Make sure you have a phone number of a trusted technician
  • Make sure you have reflecting triangle or flare in case you stopped in the free way
  • Don’t text and drive

safety and peace

Finally keeping your eyes on your vehicle is very important for your safety, expenses and the best performance.
